Helen Matthews Veterinary Nursing Assistant

Helen has been part of the team for almost 10 years. She organises and runs our Puppy Parties that are held weekly at the Thurston Surgery.

Prior to joining the Practice Helen ran a busy Boarding & Rescue kennels, but now enjoys working part-time, which allows her to spend time with her two Leonbergers Ete & Talia, plus Darcey her husbands Minature Wire-haired Dachshund- who rules the big dogs with a firm paw!

Helen has been actively involved in the Leonberger Club of GB for 30 years & currently works with their Working Section, organising Carting & Water Rescue Training & testing, and judges both at all levels.
