After working for 20 years as a small animal vet in her native country, Germany, where she graduated in 1987, Kerstin and her English husband moved to the UK in January 2011.
Initially, working at practices in Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Suffolk, she went on to join the team of Haughley and Thurston Veterinary Centre in November 2014.
Kerstin's passion for small animal medicine developed during her childhood, and to this day she is certain that she couldn’t have chosen a more rewarding career. Her areas of special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.
At home, she has a bouncy black Lab whose mission is to show her as much Suffolk countryside as caninely possible, and a Poodle-Terrier cross who proves the viability of perpetual motion.
