Gemma Ninnmey Clinical Director

Gemma graduated from RVC in 2009 having completed degrees in Veterinary Science and Veterinary Medicine. Having grown up in Suffolk, she initially came back and worked in the county at a variety of practices. In 2016, she completed her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. She has spent the last 3 years over the border in Essex but is happily now back in the better county and joining Haughley and Thurston Vets as Clinical Director.

Gemma really enjoys surgical problems and loves nothing more than looking for a corn on the cob in a naughty Labradors tummy!

Outside of work, Gemma has a lively Spaniel called Martha who loves running though thickets and fields of grass seeds, so she often has to be patched up or have seeds pulled out of her feet.

Gemma also has a young family and enjoys spending time with them, travelling and seeing the world.
