I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1993 when practice life was very different to how it is now. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinics across the country including a referral centre specialising in oncology and critical care.

I've always taken a keen interest in training students, so I joined one of the largest vet nurse colleges in the country to become an internal verifier for the qualification.

After moving from Essex to Suffolk I was very happy to be invited to join such a lovely team at Haughley and Thurston.

I am finally embracing true country living!
